Mike Mabin, ABC, brings to clients over two decades of business experience, having served as an administrative member of a nationally-recognized leader in the health care industry. During a 20 year career at this regional health care facility, Mabin was responsible for departments including Planning & Market Research, Marketing & Education, Fund Raising & Development, Community Outreach & Health Ministry, and Telemedicine & Telecommunications. He also led key organizational efforts such as strategic planning, mission effectiveness, customer service and leadership development.

Mabin majored in photography and filmmaking at the Minneapolis College of Art & Design and later went on to earn a Bachelors degree in Communications and a Masters degree in Management from the University of Mary, Bismarck, ND .

He is the region’s only marketing and advertising executive who is fully accredited by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). Mabin is also a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and serves as an Adjunct Professor of marketing at the University of Mary, Bismarck, North Dakota.

Mabin founded Marketing & Advertising Business Unlimited, Inc. (dba Agency MABU) in 2001. In 2004, he embarked on an ambitious dream of building a nationwide network of affiliated communications professionals under the brand name of MABU Public Relations. To date, MABU PR consultants operate in a handful of states including North Dakota, Minnesota, Colorado, Wyoming and California.
